About us
It has always been a dream of ours to open a bar and what better place to do it than in Siesta Key! Tom and I have always had a passion for food and wine and decided "Why not open a Wine Bar?" We wanted our bar to feel like Cheers where everyone knows everyone and feels comfortable just coming in by yourself or with friends to drink delicious wine. Our wine bar was designed with a focus on relaxation and enjoyment. We carry wines from all around the World ranging from Napa to South Africa, France, Italy, Spain, and even sweet Florida wines.
My passion for wine began in Santa Barbara where I went to college. I discovered the Santa Ynez region and became intrigued with wine. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 8 years and I have always dreamed of having a place of my own. Growing up Tom’s family owned two bars and a restaurant and he has always admired his parents' passion and always wanted to carry on the legacy. We are both avid travelers, foodies, wine and beer lovers, runners, fisherman, boaters, and also have a love for Real Estate.
Most of our time was spent living in Scottsdale, AZ but we have lived in many great places including Telluride, CO., Seattle, WA., Akron, OH., and one of our favorite places: Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where we just recently got married on our ten year anniversary. We love our dogs, cerveza, wine, and our simple life!
