A core of cherry and dark plum fruit. The nose is especially nice, with prune, leather, and clove accents, turns spicier and somewhat woodier through the palate and onto the finish.

Aromas of ripe black plums covered in clove and cinnamon open this rich and potent Amarone, it shows blackberry, prune, and black cherry notes at the core of the palate, with savory herbs, bitter cocoa, and anise in supporting roles, and superfine tannins give the wine grace on the finish.

60-100 year old vines, outstanding aromas of red fruits, sour cherries, flowers, and mineral notes, very refreshing, complex, and well-structured on the palate, its rustic tannins have been tamed by the time spent in old barrels.
